group is excellent. I know it is difficult to give this year as
many
people are dealing with these trying economic times, but Women Making a
Difference is a nice way to make your dollars go a long way to many
many different, excellent groups that support women and children in our
area.

2010 membership
campaign just kicked off and will end on
June 30, 2010. Our new online giving option allows you to
s-t-r-e-t-c-h your gift out over time, making it easier than ever for
you to support numerous Lowcountry nonprofits that aid women and

How it
works.
You commit
to the 2010 membership
campaign. [click]
• 85% is distributed annually via grants to organizations in
Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester Counties that help women and
children.
• 10%
is put into our endowment, which is held at the Coastal
Community Foundation. [click]
• 5%
is held in reserve for expenses
such as postage and office supplies not covered by donations. Unused
funds are added to the grants pool.
